I say why stop there. Make it a 22 week regular season. For starters you can play all the teams in your conference every season. Notice that the NFL is the only league now that does not do this. Also that insures that the International games are away games for both teams.
The season just starts 6 weeks earlier is all. I would watch it no problem there. And with most of the Southern Teams now playing in "Girley Man" Domes the weather is not a factor. And in 2010 August 1st just happens to be on Sunday. Each Team gets 10 home games 10 away games 1 international game, and 1 neutral site game. The International site game, and the Neutral site game would probably happen in August, or early September. And seeing how the Commish has already hinted that London England is eventually going to join the league it would get at least 4 of the international games. And I feel that this would work. Also the places that always get left out when the NFL does expand would get something for their effort. Memphis Tennesse would fix up the Liberty bowl if they knew that the NFL would have a real game their every season. Portland Oregon, Salt Lake City Utah, San *****io Texas, Oklahoma City, Birmingham Alabama, Orlando Florida, Syracuse New York, Columbus Ohio, Las Vegas Nevada, Los Angeles California, and Honolulu Hawaii
would all be great places for these games to be held at.

Fuck that. The NFL is too big as it is now.

Not playing every team and only a certain amount of games a season is what makes the NFL special and different from the other sports. It's already to spoiled and directed by money. Let's not make it worse.

Ain't broke, don't fix it. God, I wish they would get a good ol' school football vet in as commish instead of this douchebag fuck. Probably never played a down in his little spineless life.

Hey Ply you want a shorter season. I want a longer one. We disagree about this. But it's cool. I understand that you feel the season is too long. I want less Preseason games. And, more regular season games.

Wow, Figured that out all by yourself Sherlock?

I want less teams too. I want to go back to the 28 teams. or possibly 30. 32 is too much and even more would be ludicris.

16 games is perfect. Maybe 2 preseason games with 2 regular season games added?

Maybe.

18 regular season games with 2 preseason games would be perfect. In that I agree 100%. I just stated that if the Commish is serious about the NFL adding a team in London What could happen. Also the idea of a team in London is stupid. They never ever really supported the Monarchs. What makes him think that they would support an expansion team. But which 2 teams would you delete?? Houston is not allowed to be on that list ok. 32 is perfect. All divisions are the same number of teams. I like the 4 team per Division. 4 Division per conference look. 32 is actually perfect.

28 was better.

I disagree. 32 is the perfect number. 8 divisions of 4 teams each.
28 would be 3 divisions of 5-6 teams in 2 conferences. How would you do this. I wanna see which 4 teams you would delete for starters. But, Houston not allowed to be deleted.
I can see Jacksonville being gone with no problem. They keep removing seating sections every single year.
