I say why stop there. Make it a 22 week regular season. For starters you can play all the teams in your conference every season. Notice that the NFL is the only league now that does not do this. Also that insures that the International games are away games for both teams.
The season just starts 6 weeks earlier is all. I would watch it no problem there. And with most of the Southern Teams now playing in "Girley Man" Domes the weather is not a factor. And in 2010 August 1st just happens to be on Sunday. Each Team gets 10 home games 10 away games 1 international game, and 1 neutral site game. The International site game, and the Neutral site game would probably happen in August, or early September. And seeing how the Commish has already hinted that London England is eventually going to join the league it would get at least 4 of the international games. And I feel that this would work. Also the places that always get left out when the NFL does expand would get something for their effort. Memphis Tennesse would fix up the Liberty bowl if they knew that the NFL would have a real game their every season. Portland Oregon, Salt Lake City Utah, San *****io Texas, Oklahoma City, Birmingham Alabama, Orlando Florida, Syracuse New York, Columbus Ohio, Las Vegas Nevada, Los Angeles California, and Honolulu Hawaii
would all be great places for these games to be held at.
