I say around 6 wins which would be a big leap forward after a 1-15 season. What do you guys think?

If Parcells can pull it off I think Miami could contend for the AFC East crown next year

Two years I could see for a playoff berth but your telling me a 1-15 team has a shot to win the AFC East next year and knock off the Pats. That might be the dumbest statement I have ever seen. :lmao:

Yeah Tex not your brightest moment there. Knock off the Patriots in one year from a 1-15 season? I don't know what you have in that pipe but pass me some please.

I base what I said off Parcells years of experience in coaching and scouting out
talent and for known quick turn a rounds like he had with the Cowboys, so you
can scoff at the idea of Parcells turning that team around quickly but if I were
a Pats fan I'd be worried

You can laugh and scoff with the rest of these ass clowns but only Parcells,
Ireland and Sparano know how talented this Miami team is..and while this in
no way puts Miami at next years super bowl the Phins could shock a lot of
teams who think one year may not make a difference

All these ass clowns have a brain, you dont. Your saying the Dolphins will win the AFC East after finishing 1-15 this season. That is just stupid. I dont think God himself could get anymore than 8 wins next year out of this team and your telling me Parcells/Ireland/Sparano can get around 10-11 at least?

Yup I am saying they can rebound off a 1-15 season because football is as unpredictable as your next display of stupidity.

Dude ive heard some really dumb ass people make some really dumb ass predictions but jfc your telling me the 1-15 Dolphins just because they got Parcells can over take the right now 17-0 Patriots next season for the AFC East Crown? Dude thats just the dumbest shit anyone with a brain has ever heard. Please tell me you aren't basing this on his first year with the Jets when he turned around a 1-15 team to a 9-7 team the next season. First he didnt make the playoffs that year let alone the division title and second even if he goes 9-7 that wont win the AFC East. Dude the more and more you debate this topic the more and more you look like a retard trying to run away from the obvious. :shark:

Dude the only reason you can't see Miami making a 1 year turn around is b/c your to busy looking at the fact that they went 1-15 last year, Before they had Bill Parcells, Jeff Ireland and Tony Sparano..but it's time to stop looking at the
past and realize Parcells has the 1st overall pick for the 2008 draft as well as
a probable 2nd first round pick plus Parcells still has free agency and he can
make trades to other teams for certain players that he wants. with plenty of
cap room to boot. so don't sit there and tell me that when you have all those
options on the table that NO team can easily make a jump from last to 1st b/c
your wrong

Lets take your post step by step.

No im looking at the team they have and no way can a 1-15 team with the players they have make that type of turnaround. They have no real QB, a banged up RB, they traded there best WR for shit, there TE is a bum, there offensive line is laughable, and there defense is old and weak.
.but it's time to stop looking at the
past and realize Parcells has the 1st overall pick for the 2008 draft as well as

Ok and what are the odds those players can step up this year and make a big enough effort that it would make this team anywhere close to the Pats level. There rookies dude. I dont wanna hear about draft picks and what they will get because they wont make a difference on next years team like you think.
plus Parcells still has free agency
Ok he can add some free agents wow. It takes longer than 1 year for a team to jell the way your talking about. DO you think this team can add 3 or 4 free agents and turnaround and make this team a division winner? Oh and by the way who the fuck would want to come to a 1-15 team thats any good when teams like Jacksonville and Tennessee have 30 million in cap room to spend?
and he can make trades to other teams for certain players that he wants. with plenty of cap room to boot.
Dude what are they gonna trade? The draft picks you were running you mouth about? They dont have any talent to trade that would bring in any real playmakers.
so don't sit there and tell me that when you have all those options on the table that NO team can easily make a jump from last to 1st b/c your wrong
No team has ever been 1-15 and turned around and won a division title. Oh and once again they would have to knock off a team that before tomorrows AFC Title Game is 17-0. The Dolphins could make a run in 2 years but no way do they win the AFC East next year thats a stupid statement when all your basing it on is a HOF coach who will not be coaching, a front office guy, and a OL coach who has never been a NFL Head Coach. Your basing it on those 3 names and that is insane when you notice that the players they got right now needed a Stover missed FG too even have a shot to win a game this season. Now your telling me that a couple moves in FA and the draft and they will turn into world beaters and knock off a team that hasnt lost a game this season. THAT IS THE DUMBEST FUCKING STATEMENT I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY FUCKING LIFE.

Again this is where you are wrong you see 1-15 with out Parcells, Sparano and
Ireland running the team..me I see a team that has plenty of cap space plus
draft picks to turn that 1-15 team around next season

No need to turn in to a faggot skins and hey if I am wrong then I am wrong but I have seen teams
drastically turned around and if Parcells could turn around a terrible 5-11 Dallas team 3 years running
then I think he can do the same with the Phins

Listen to what you are saying instead of throwing words together because you look like a fool. Your comparing the Cowboys that were 5-11/4th place in 2002 and finished 10-6/2nd place in 2003 to a Dolphins team that finished 1-15/4th place in 2007 and because of the Cowboys 2003 team you say that the Dolphins finish at least 10-6/1st place? That makes no sense what so ever. I hope you realize this. In case you dont here are the reasons......
1) The Dolphins are 1-15 and not 5-11.
2) The Cowboys in 2003 finished in 2nd place and did not win the division.
3) The Cowboys improved 5 games with a team that had a solid core at the time.
4) The Dolphins who are worse off in talent compared to the 2002 Cowboys would at the very least would have to win 9 more games than last season to reach 10 not 5.
5) Comparing a team that had talent on the 2002/2003 Cowboys to the 2007/2008 Dolphins is a slap in the face to the 2002/2003 Cowboys.
6) In 2002 the Eagles were 12-4 while the Cowboys were 5-11 a 7 game difference.
7) The Patriots finished 16-0 while the Dolphins were 1-15 a 15 game difference this season.
The Bottom Line is......
If you think the Dolphins who were 15 games worse than the Patriots this year can make a couple moves with the new staff and can make up that type of ground and overtake the Patriots well then your just stupid. The Dolphins would need 10 wins at least to win the division but the odds are they would need to finish 13-3 to overtake the Pats. It wont happen.

That's right I am comparing the Cowboys dismal three 5-11 seasons and then
dramatic turn around to 10-6 as my example, because I don't doubt what Bill
can do for a team, and if he ever coached the Redskins you would all so not
doubt how Parcells is capable of finding talent and applying it to what he all
ready has for talent to the team
