Default Short Yardage

What in the fuck is so hard about this? I have noticed teams getting way too cute in short yardage or just not having any balls. I am currently watching the Pats-Chargers game and the Chargers punt on fourth and less than a yard trailing by 17 points. You are down by 17 and you have the best running back in the league and eventually EVER. Go for it, you pussies. Now they just threw an interception on 3rd and 1 and it was returned for six. You have the best running back in the league. Run it and get your fucking yard. If you don't get it, do it again on fourth down.
Now go back to last week when the Ravens had the ball with a lead and had third and one in a game where turnovers were snowballing on them. It's the fourth quarter and the clock is your friend. RUN THE BALL STUPID. Instead an interception is run back deep into our territory and the Bengals score the go ahead TD. Later, the Ravens are knocking on the door and run eight plays and don't run it once. HAS ANYBODY SEEN THE BENGALS DEFENSE??? RUN THE BALL, STUPID!!!!
What is so hard about these short yardage situations? Run the fucking ball up the gut and everything will be fine. If it doesn't work and you are trailing by a lot, have the balls to line up and do it again. That is called making a statement.
